Kamari Chelsea is a multi-hyphenate media and communications expert, known for communications strategy, influencer marketing, media relations, content production and more.

She began her career in public relations representing iconic brands under Fortune 500 corporate companies including The Coca-Cola Company, Procter & Gamble and Warner Music Group, with clients ranging from T.I. and Plies to Clairol, COVERGIRL, and Honest Tea. In recent years, Kamari’s brand and communications expertise helped catapult emerging tech brands into household names, including The Knot WorldWide (f.k.a. WeddingWire) and Vote.org

After charting on PR News’ Top 30 Under 30 Rising Stars list in 2015, she founded a creative consulting and production company. There she has provided talent management, PR, and strategic coaching/consulting to this generation’s top rising and established stars in media and entertainment including Parkwood Entertainment (a Beyoncé Knowles Carter company),  DJ Spinderella of Salt n’ Pepa, KC BANDZ, and leading Black and Latina editors and influencers at Refinery29, Cosmo, HipLatina and more.

Kamari has also been a preeminent millennial voice at the intersection culture and the progressive movement. Her commentary has been featured in HipLatina, Refinery29, Buzzfeed, New York Magazine’s The Cut, and more. Her company also produces The Truth Report podcast where she interviews influencers making a tangible impact on vast communities on and offline.

Kamari splits her time between New York, D.C., Los Angeles, and Grenada. She also considers herself Captain of the BeyHive.
